Following its launch, TOOP was adopted and implemented by several industry players.

TOOP tackles a widely known BitVM-like protocols limitation, where bridged assets can only be unlocked by addresses known and registered during the original locking phase, forcing a front-and-reimburse model that imposes additional costs.

By eliminating this inefficiency, TOOP allows the assets to be directly transferred to the intended recipients, completely avoiding any fronting requirements at all. This includes non fungible tokens as well, expanding building possibilities.
